The airport is located in Genoa Sestri Ponente, just a few kilometers from the city center, and is connected to the city via taxis, trains, and the Airlink shuttle service. Airlink offers a direct connection between Sestri Ponente station and the airport, with a departure every 15 minutes from 6 AM to 10 PM, and a travel time of just a few minutes.

Genoa Sestri Ponente station to the AMT shuttle bus stop for the
airport.
Genoa has an extensive railway network branching along east-westroutes and internal connections that link the city to Northern Europe. The main central stations are Genoa Principe (in front of the venue Grand Hotel Savoia***** and Hotel Continental ****) and Genoa Brignole, in fornt of Starhotels President ****. The train is undoubtedly one of the most convenient ways to travel within the city as well, along the line connecting coastal districts from Voltri to Nervi.
Three motorways connects the city to the national road network from different directions:
A12 Genova - Rosignano: for travelers coming from the east, exits: GE Nervi and GE Est.
A10 dei Fiori Genova - Ventimiglia: for travelers coming from the west, exits: GE Prà, GE Pegli, GE Aeroporto, GE Ovest.
A26 Voltri - Gravellona Toce: connects to the A10 near GEPrà, exits: GE Prà, GE Pegli, GE Aeroporto, GE Ovest.
